Mountaintop Golf Course

Considered by many to be the finest golf course designer of modern times, Tom Fazio, a resident of neighboring Hendersonville, NC, has crafted a true masterpiece at Mountaintop.

Mr. Fazio has spent many hours walking the hills and woodlands of Mountaintop to ensure the course flows seamlessly with the natural topography and takes full advantage of the challenges and beauty presented by Mountaintop's dramatic terrain, majestic hardwoods, natural springs and sweeping views. The result is a truly inspired Carolina mountain core-golf experience that deftly balances challenge and strategy with playability. Thus the course is capable of testing the game's best players while providing a fun, fair day of golf for higher-handicap players and families.

Reserved for play solely by Mountaintop's 350 equity members, their families and invited guests, the golf club exudes the friendly ambiance and genteel charm befitting its Carolina heritage.

Trillium Links

Trillium Links
The spectacular natural beauty that characterizes Trillium's sophisticated golf course reminds us of why we play "The Old Game" in the first place. By combining natural elements with careful design and a traditional approach to the game of golf, Trillium Links is the Hallmark of the Trillium amenities. When combined with the driving range and practice facility, it's easy to see that Trillium Links offers a comprehensive range of golfing amenities unlike any other in the mountains of North Carolina. Together, this top-rated course and inviting Clubhouse are an integral part of the Trillium lifestyle and the heart of a warm, welcoming community.

Inspired by the panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, course designer and PGA Senior Tour Player Morris Hatalsky created an award-winning 18-hole championship course that meanders through mountain laurels and indigenous hardwoods, as the dramatic elevation changes bring fresh challenges at every hole.

Trillium Links is, unquestionably, one of the finest championship golf courses in western North Carolina. Regardless of your handicap, you'll find golf at Trillium Links challenging and enjoyable, with 4 sets of tees, bent grass tees, greens and fairways, magnificent vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains, all combined with an occasional greeting from the local wildlife.

High Hampton County Club
"I have yet to see a course - designed by me or by others - with greater natural beauty or one more enjoyable to play," said George W. Cobb, High Hampton Inn Golf Club course architect.

Each of the 18 holes on this NC mountain golf course is a new scenic experience. Lined by towering pines, hemlocks and mountain laurel and surrounded by mountain peaks, all tees, fairways and greens are as beautiful as they are challenging.

Designed by the late, eminent golf course architect, George W. Cobb, ASGCA, this North Carolina golf course features bent grass greens and plays at 6,012 yards from the back tees. The par 3, 137-yard famed 8th "island” hole - upon which Golf Digest bestowed the title "One of America's Great Golf Holes" - is rivaled by 17 others, each one equally beautiful and equally challenging.

In addition to the course, there are two putting greens and an excellent practice range at this Blue Ridge Mountain golf resort in Cashiers. The tee area of the practice range is covered for protection from occasional rains.

The High Hampton Golf Club is open to guests and residents looking for golf vacations in North Carolina.

All courses are 18 holes unless otherwise noted.
